TVS was founded by T V Srinivasan in the year 1978 and it is the fourth largest motorcylce manufacturing company in India. The company has laid its plants in Hosur, Mysore and Nalagarh in India apart from this it has a seperate plant in Karawang which is located in Indonesia. TVS manufactures motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and auto rickshaws. In past few years it has introduced some good scooters for girls in automarket which comes at a very reasonable price. It has gained many awards and was tied up with Suzuki for 19 years which was started in 1982 and ended on 2001. It has introduced 14 bike models on road starting from the range of Rs 33000 to Rs 38500 with a good amount of dealers across India.
